The Rangeley Friends of the Arts is planning for an exciting summer season in the arts for Rangeley Region. Although, winter is still in full swing here, summer will come. RFA will be expanding the number of events and collaborating with other local organizations as we bring the arts to the Rangeley Region for the 45th year.
Auditions for the summer musical Annie Get Your Gun will be held April 26 at 4:30 PM at The Barn on High Street. We are looking for actors – high school and adult, production staff, and all those who want to be involved in this uplifting, challenging and fun production. If you cannot make this date and wish to be involved, please call 864-2963. The show will be held at Lakeside Theater on July 5, 6, 7 and 8. Community Theatre is at its best when many people of the community become involved.
The registration forms for the week long 2013 RFA Drama Camp for those students entering the second grade through the sixth grade are available at the RLRS music room or by calling 864-2963. This very popular camp fills up quickly and there is a limited number of spots available.
In addition to the summer musical production, the season will be filled with Rangeley Community Chorus concerts, John David Adams Concert, the annual Street Dance, a West African Evening, Summer Diva, RFA Home Tour and Taste of Rangeley, Art in August, the Westerhoff Concert, two Celtic Concerts, Gary Westerhoff Photography exhibit, two evenings of Music from the Lake, and other exciting events to enjoy this summer.
Get ready to enjoy a great arts season in the Rangeley Region
