Theater at Monmouth returned to RLRS on May 15, 2013 for a world premiere adaptation of classic literature.
The Legend of Finn MacCool was adapted to build analytical and literacy skills through the exploration of verse and playwriting, fostering creativity and inspiring imaginative thinking. The Legend of Finn MacCool is composed of three tales about the legendary third-century hero from Ireland. These tales were selected to explore what helped make Finn a good friend, good neighbor, and good citizen.
After the performance, students were engaged in a question and answer session with the actors.
Page to Stage Tour workshops throughout the day offered students the opportunity to study, explore and view classic literature through performance.
