Drama Camp is for students entering second grade through sixth grade, or ages 7-12.
The cost for the week is $85 and our Camp leader is Talley Murphy.

The morning will include drama activity and skill development, with lots of games and creative activities.  Some of the areas of acting will focus on: pantomime, storytelling, creating characters, environments, emotions, improvisation, creative movement, and scene building.  The afternoon time slot will focus on production work.  This time will be used primarily on rehearsing the selected show to be shared at the end of the week.

Talley Murphy is a BA theatre student at Barnard College of Columbia University. This will be her seventh year working with the RFA Summer Drama program  – last year she directed Bad Girls for the RFA Teen Drama Week. Recent directing credits include Joyriders (Columbia University Players), Fruitful Ambiguity (NOMADS/Columbia University) and Red High Heels (Anacostia Playhouse).  Talley is a founding member of the  Dodgeball Theatre Teen Ensemble. Talley is currently in pre-production for a YouTube series which she is writing and directing.
